At Wee Care Day Care Centre, we nourish young minds. For over forty years as a non-profit daycare, we have provided nurturing and attentive childcare services for preschool children between the ages of 3 and 5 years old with a purpose to provide quality care to families in our community.
We are seeking an ECE Teacher to substitute and provide vacation coverage for Wee Care staff.

Ways You Will Contribute:
- Provide direct care for preschool-age children who demonstrate an attitude of love and respect.
- Collaborate in the implementation of daily programs and activities that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment conducive to learning and exploration.
- Support children in daily routines including mealtimes, nap times and outdoor play.
- Set up play equipment for outside/ inside play.
- Follow licensing regulations and adhere to daycare policies and procedures.
What You Bring:
- Valid Early Childhood Education (ECE or ECEA) Certificate or responsible Adult Training (20 hours of specific training about child development, guidance, health and safety, or nutrition).
- Experience working with young children.
This is a casual temporary position from June 19, 2024, to August 23, 2024, with a minimum of 20 hours per week to a maximum of 35 hours per week.
Salary is $18.00 per hour (plus $6/hr ECE Wage Enhancement where applicable).
